Todd Goldman: Art Thief
The first piece discovered. On the left is Dave Kelly's (Shmorky's) Purple Pussy comic from September 19, 2001. On the right is Todd Goldman's "original" artwork, as seen in a Los Angeles art gallery.
Todd charges upwards of 4 Grand for his "inspired" artwork. People pay it, AND he has Target sells his goods under another name.
It would appear that Todd Goldman has made a very lucrative career of stealing other peoples ideas.

What a thieving douchebag. I'd seen the "dear god, please make everyone die" thing before, but had no idea the extent of plagiarism.
I don't really believe in hell, but if there is, I hope there's a special place being saved for him, and all the people making Calving pee on something. grr.

Those are bootleg and one of the reasons Bill Waterson went into hiding. You can't get anyone for that...and I think that example is loose at best.
