Pat on the Back > Kick in the 'nads

Just a very brief but heartfelt thanks to Canon U.S.A who fixed the LCD on her PowerShot SD550 after she dropped it for free out of warrenty. She was looking at either a $170ish bucks to swap it out for a refurbished one, or a minimum $119 repair fee. She got it back 5 days after sending it in for an estimate.
