Edit: I ended up ditching the lyrics as every time I saw them, it started the whole maddening song cycle again.

You really need to bring some Jimi for them - clearly they need as much help with their music taste as they do with their problem behaviors. I may have to do a brain imaging study on this topic at some point: Do people who listen to lame-ass music engage fewer higher-level areas of their brains (and thus "think less"). This could as easily apply to pop music as well as rap - anything that relies on repetetive, non-sensical lyrics.
